Expert and Compassionate Care

We are a Vancouver-based boutique clinic that provides personalized therapy and consultation for children, teens, and adults to support meaningful, lasting psychological wellness.

Two women in a room with minimalist decor, one sitting on a yellow chair and the other standing next to her. The woman on the left has shoulder-length dark hair, wears a floral blouse and blue pants. The seated woman has long, curly, gray hair, wears a velvet top and plaid skirt with red shoes. There is a tall potted plant, a vase of pink tulips, a wooden sideboard, and a painting of a girl with an umbrella on the wall.

We provide a deeper understanding of the underlying factors that impact psychological health, as well as the skills necessary to achieve enduring change.

From long-term services to more solutions-focused goals, each care plan is personalized to best reflect your needs, values, and what matters most to you.

Franz & Raymond welcomes clients of all backgrounds, genders, and orientations.

Our Approach

  • Close-up of books on a shelf in a library, with more shelves of books in the background.

    Evidence-Based

We offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Jungian depth psychotherapy.

These research-based therapies prioritize clinical evidence in the treatment of mental health issues. By incorporating the latest psychological research and proven therapeutic methods, we strive for predictable outcomes and improvements in mental health over time.

    Trauma-Informed

Trauma occurs when experiences overwhelm our ability to cope, leaving lasting emotional effects. Complex trauma develops from prolonged or repeated experiences, often in childhood, and can impact relationships, and sense of self. Its effects may include anxiety, difficulty regulating emotions, and challenges with trust.

We help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to integrate past experiences, foster resilience, and move forward.

  • Two hands, one dark-skinned and one light-skinned, clasped together in a show of solidarity.

    Grounded in Attachment Theory

Our earliest relationships create templates for how we see ourselves and how we see the world. These templates inform how we approach our family, romantic, and parenting relationships, as well as how we are in relationship with our own ‘self’.

Regardless of therapy model or approach, we know that the client-therapist relationship is critical. It sets the stage for repairing attachment injuries, allowing clients to feel more confident and secure in their relationships and themselves.
